In verses 1-12 we saw that Christ is for the believer – In verses 13-17 we see that the believer is called to be ________ Christ in all things!

Perspectives on holiness:

There are two coming judgments…

 

The Great White Throne Judgment is for ____________________

Believers are spared at this judgment based on what Jesus has done for them. Having rejected Christ, unbelievers are evaluated and given degrees of punishment based on their deeds.

 

The Judgment Seat of Christ is for ________________________

 

We make it our aim to be pleasing to Him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each may be repaid for what he has done in the body, whether good or bad. Knowing, then, the fear of the Lord, we persuade people. We are completely open before God.                         -2 Corinthians 5:9-11

Believers are evaluated and rewarded at this judgment based on what they have done for Jesus. Some will receive greater rewards and responsibilities in the future kingdom than others.
